Securing your IIS SSL Protocols and Ciphers with IIS Crypto

When you first setup IIS and secure your site with SSL, by default IIS is not configured to use the most secured SSL Protocols and Ciphers. Microsoft does have some guidelines on how to turn on or off the SSL Protocols and Ciphers (Link Here) but having to go into the Registry to make the modifications can be tedious. The following is the tool you can use to make your life easier.

IIS Crypto by Nartac Software makes your life easier by having a GUI interface to select which SSL Protocols and Ciphers you want to implement. The best part is that they have preset configurations depending on what kind of security you are going for. All you need to do is select the SSL Protocols and Ciphers you want and then click on Apply. After that you will need to reboot your IIS Web Server in order for the new SSL Protocols and Ciphers to take effect.

I hope this has been useful for all of you! 🙂
